The past two weeks have been horrible for me as far as memory goes. Just after we were complimented on our ability to always remember our bags, egg cartons and returnable milk jars to the market, I forgot the milk jugs. In my own defense, I did realize that the bags were quite light this week, I just didn't connect the dots!
The next day, I went back to get the milk only... I forgot them again! Yikes! I know that pregnancy is said to decrease your brain function by 8%, but does it all have to be from my working memory?
The biggest thing that has slipped out of my sight is my food journal. I am hoping that the public admission of my loss will convince the book to find it's way home. If I left it somewhere and you have seen receipts and purchases tracked to local vs. non, HELP! I had it out and about recently because I have been so pumped about our ability to buy local things, I didn't want to miss ANYTHING. But now...
Here is hoping that someone lovely found it and is just waiting for me to admit my loss.
I so know what you mean. I am currently working on a bit for a newsletter that comments on how going green really requires a different level of organizing. Your dilemna is like so many. Try and have a crate or some other level of staging at the entrance to your garage or back door that encourages or fosters some ease in getting those bottles where you need them when you are going back to the store. Having a hook just for those bags helps too. On one of my hooks I added a hanging basket and the egg cartons and such go right in there. It took a bit of adjusting but now the new system is working.
My journal - the one I use similar to you goes right in same bowl with my keys when I am not using it. Otherwise I'd leave it who knows where. I'd be lost with out it - truly hope yours turns up
If your a fan at all of supplements lecithin is a-ok to take during your pregnancy and is fab for short term memory stuff.

You know, that is what I try to do, but the baby throws in an entirely different twist. I am trying to remember bags, egg cartons, diapers, snacks for both of us... this is all from someone who has never been able to reliably carry a purse! Now I have so many different things to bring.
Our staging area was our three season porch for the milk jugs. Now, with the summer and the sun... I fear that no amount of rinsing the bottles will allow me to hand the jars back over to the seller w/o fear of spoiled milk smells!
Thanks for the tip on the supplements. If nothing else, it reminded me to take my pills for today. Remembering to check out some lecithin will be another trick, but I will try! -Sareen
