Chile Peppers

Sam Arnold's Peanut Butter Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Sam offers this simple way to enjoy an unlikely combination of hot and mild foods.

Ingredients:

Pickled whole jalapeno peppers

Peanut butter

Slice a pepper down one side. Remove the seeds and "stringers." Fill the pepper with peanut butter. The peanut butter should make up at least 70% of the concoction. Eat the entire stuffed jalapeno in one bite to get the full effect of the hot and mild sensations in unison.

If you liked this one, don't miss Mr. Arnold's Chocolate Chile Cake.

Chile Pepper Resources

Sam Arnold recommends Chile Pepper Magazine for the lastest information on chile science, chile cuisine and chile products from all over the world. The May/June issue features a story on a chile fanatic's dream tour of Burma, spicy foods of London and how medical researches have found that a byproduct of chiles (capasaicin) helps quiet headaches, clear breathing and kill mouth pain.
