A man accepts whatever superlatives come his way. I used to be the tallest radio humorist in America and now I get to be the whitest man. Okay. Somebody gets to be the blackest and I get to be the whitest. That Tuesday night, I stood in line outside Ramsey Junior High in St. Paul to cast my preference ballot for Senator Obama and it was COLD out there. The people around me looked white as sheets and I suppose I was too. Cold will do that to you.
