Post to the Host:
my apologies, this is about a newspaper column that ran in February:
What is a carpet-chewer? My husband asked whether it was the same as a rug-muncher! I told him I didn't think so, since apparently Michael Moore fits the category.
Sorry for my ignorance.
thanx

A carpet-chewer is someone who reaches a state of blind fury and in his rage chews the carpet. An angry person, especially one who does it in public for effect.

As Susan reminds us, What's The Matter With Kansas is still a relevant title, unlike her criticism of Michael Moore, which is so 2004. Speaking of that storied year, I wonder how the great Jayhawk State feels about the Current Occupant, now in his 6th Smash Year!

Is this a reference to something from a broadcast that I perhaps missed? It sounds to me like some kind of innuendo. Mr. Keillor, I recently sent you an earnest note regarding the WD-40 sketch and have been hoping for some kind of response. Instead you choose to respond to this sort of juvenile nonsense? I must say I'm a little perplexed.
