Dear Mr. Keillor,
I live in Santa Cruz, CA and I'm 6 years old. I want to know, do you ever surf?
I listen to the special birthdays and poems every night before I go to sleep. (I ask to hear them every night) My mom loves your show.

Emily Anna, I'm a man who loves woods and fields, I'm not a beach person. Surfing is not so good here on the Mississippi River, or on Lake Superior, which is so cold that a surfer would turn into a statue. And I'm afraid of water. But trees have never hurt me.
