I heard a hysterical live presentation of an English language opera called, apparently, "La Influenza"--I found it rather reminiscent of Frank Zappa's "200 Motels".
I never heard Frank Zappa's "200 Motels" or even heard of it, Speedoo, but I'm thrilled that you find me reminiscent of him. Usually when people find things of mine reminiscent of someone else's work, it's work by people like Norman Rockwell or Grandma Moses or Edgar A. Guest, the author of "It Takes A Heap O' Livin' in a House to Call It Home". If you could find a way to listen to me sing and be reminded of Otis Redding, I'd be even happier.
