Robin and Linda: A Cure to the Thursday Blues

February 1, 2010

A note from Robin and Linda Williams

Dear Friends,
It's a beautiful, sunny and cold day in Middlebrook, VA with a bright blue sky and seven inches of fresh white snow, a perfectly clear day. Luckily we haven't had to go anywhere and we've spent the day getting a lot of small things done.

We are getting ready to head to St. Paul, MN and are excited to be part of the live Cinecast of A Prairie Home Companion this Thursday. It could be the perfect way to cure the Thursday blues. There'll be a fine cast of regular Prairie Home folks along with Elvis Costello. Who'd have thought we'd ever get to do a show with him. Of course we said the same thing about Chet Atkins, Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter and many other wonderful performers. We'll just do our work and be our usual charming selves. That's all we can do.

-Robin & Linda
