Bach vs. Beck vs. Bjork

This video used to be up on half a dozen websites. Sad to say, I can't find a link to a free video of this classic moment from MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch any more. You can buy it if you're curious, but for now, just this description. From a 2005 interview with Beck in the Aussie newspaper, "The Age."

...in 2002 a claymation version of Beck featured on the music channel's Celebrity Death Match in a battle to the death with Icelandic singer Bjork. They were slugging it out for the title of Greatest Monosyllabic Musical Genius of All Time...At the end of the MTV showdown, Beck and Bjork are both beaten to a pulp by Johann Sebastian Bach. This, the space cadet of pop agrees, would be true musical justice. "I wouldn't go into the ring with Bach," Beck shudders.

"He had 16 kids or something, and they all lived in one room, and he still managed to write more music that I have in my entire career. Probably in two weeks. So he was a man of formidable force."
