Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt. It was playing the great keyboard classics that made the now 25 year-old Chinese pianist Lang Lang one of the biggest stars in the world of classical music. Lang Lang's 2007 CD of Beethoven piano concertos was a Grammy nominee. But Lang Lang might be migrating to the "Classical Crossover" Grammy category. When Robert Hughes, writing for the Wall Street Journal, asked Lang Lang last week who he'd like to collaborate with, he didn't mention the Berlin Philharmonic or conductor Mariss Jansons. Lang Lang said...
"Yesterday, I met Barbra Streisand. I would love to do a project with her."
