Pin the tail on the lobbyist
The health care debate is soaking deep into the grassroots. One website is holding a contest to see who can find the most former Congressional staff members who are now lobbying for the health care industry.
The site is called LittleSis.org, a clever play on “Big Brother.” LittleSis is working with the Huffington Post to make connections between Congress and the health care industry:
Each time a member of the health care research group adds a staffer to our master list or creates connections between lobbyists and members of Congress, they gain points. Points will accumulate for the entire month…
At the end of August, we’ll be awarding our top three analysts with prizes that include LittleSis gear, books on the politics of health care, and more.
You can participate in the contest by going here. So far, I see 161 connections listed.
Here’s a video explaining how this thing works:
By the way, LittleSis is also detailing connections between Goldman Sachs and Washington:
Our primary mission is to develop a comprehensive list of the revolving-door political appointments, profligate spending on lobbyists, and shady business deals behind the Goldman Sachs name.
The results so far.
