Who said comic strips were dead?

I continue to find new examples of people expressing their recessionary selves. Between the unemployed having more free time and the need to laugh or else you’ll cry, there’s a lot of creative spark. Today, I found comic strips!

Living With Le$ is a series created by “a self-proclaimed laid off Wall Street exec.”

It’s about the (non?) adventures of a guy who’s just lost his job and moved back in with his parents. Here’s a sample:

Hat tip, unemploymentality.com

If you’re feeling (un?)inspired yourself, there’s a new site that allows you to make your own comic strips. Here’s a recession-themed one I found at Pixton.com:

It’s fun to play around with. I was trying to make one, but I couldn’t settle on a good idea. If you have any suggestions for topics, I’ll give it another try.

Or if you make your own, let me know.
