Paying to be a blogger
If you really, really, really want to be a blogger, the Huffington Post has a deal for you. HuffPo is auctioning off a 2-3 month internship at one of its blog factories, New York or Washington. Before you get too excited, let me tell me how much you’ll have to bid.
$15,500. Someone has already put in for $13,000, so they will get the job unless someone else steps it up. The auction lasts for two more weeks.
It may seem crazy to pay to have a job, especially in a recession. But in this case, it’s for a good cause. The auction benefits the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.
