Chewing on the credit crisis

What would be the best comfort food for a global financial crisis? Chocolate, of course. And better yet, chocolate called “Credit Crunch.”

According to The Press Association, “Credit Crunch” was created by The Chocolate Society in partnership with restaurateur and food writer Laura Santin. The candies are a mix of Valrhona chocolate thickly coated over pieces of honeycomb. And you can buy them online (in dark and milk chocolate) from The Chocolate Society Web site

The fancy treats are being sold at Selfridges department store in Britain. A 5-ounce bag would cost about $7 here.

Wonder if they melt down?
