About this blog . . .
Managing our money threatens to become a full-time occupation these days. And we all worry about the choices we're making. Am I saving enough for retirement? How can I get out of credit card debt? Where should I salt away some money for my kid's college education?
This blog is devoted to helping you manage your money well and manage your risks smartly without turning personal finance into a second career. I want to connect with people who are trying to be savvy with their money so that they can spend more time with family and friends, volunteer in their community and pursue their passions — let alone do a good job at work.
I'll toss in thoughts about the economy and markets, as well as a bit of history, too. I'll try to relay in clear, concise terms the latest finance ideas in academia and concepts along the frontiers of Wall Street, strategies and insights that often translate into good investment options at rock bottom prices. I'll offer up a skeptical voice about the grasping, high-fee hand of the financial services industry.
Most of all, I look forward to your comments and insight.
