I thought I heard you answering a reader's query about College 529 plans by saying not to withdraw money from them, but also not to put any more in right now. Then on a subsequent broadcast I thought I heard you recommending them again.

How are you feeling currently about saving for college in a 529 plan vs. putting money away in a C.D. or savings account, for instance?

My child is 12.
