Political Conventions

Anybody got any good stories about attending state political conventions?

Tomorrow, "Talk of the City" broadcasts live from the Anaheim Marriott, site of the 2005 California Republican Party State Convention. We'll have the latest on Governor Schwarzenegger's expected announcement that he'll seek a second term, party plans for getting out the vote for the November special election, and hopes for increasing the number of Republicans in the state legislature.

Have you ever served as a delegate? What was it like? Got any pictures?

Please share your memories and stories!
