Emergency Preparedness

Something to keep in mind is the advantage of creating your own first aid kit. One is cost; the ability to put together all the contents from a 99 cents store or Rite Aid. But perhaps an even more important reason is if you put it together yourself, you're more likely to remember what the contents are. That could become critical in an emergency when you need to act quickly. Chances are, if you purchased the kit, you may not ever really go through it and know all of the contents.
