Bloggers mock choice of Seinfeld as Microsoft pitch man

Starting September 4th, comedian Jerry Seinfeld will appear in TV ads for Microsoft Windows. The Wall Street Journal says Seinfeld will earn $10 million for his services. Gawker and other prominent blogs have mocked the choice, saying it makes little sense for a performer whose celebrity peaked many years ago to be the pitch man for Windows.

On his Global Nerdy blog, Joey DeVilla writes about the Seinfeld choice, and looks at celebrity computer-related endorsements through the years.
