Cost of text messaging rising - or is it?
Even though text messages cost mobile phone carriers next to nothing, the per message price carriers are charging has doubled from 10 to 20 cents in just three years.
But it might not be accurate to conclude most people are paying more overall, because fewer mobile phone customers are buying text messages a la cart, choosing instead to buy bundles of messages at a discount.
