Free speech or Internet insults?

RealAudio - MP3 - iTunes

This week the government of Turkey banned the Internet video site, YouTube. The reason? News reports say the video prompting the ban allegedly said Turkey's founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and all Turks are homosexual.

The Turkish government deemed the video insulting to "Turkishness" and the memory of Ataturk who died in 1938.

In Turkey, insulting founding fathers is a criminal offense.

It's not clear who created the video which has already been removed from YouTube. But the Turkish government is still blocking all access to YouTube by Turkish citizens.
