The Places That Bind

Examining Preservation and Culture In A Changing City

As part of the opening festival for the new Jerome L. Greene Performance Space, WNYC Radio hosted a discussion on preservation and New York City neighborhoods .

Rosie Perez moderated an audience-driven discussion on how to preserve (and when not to preserve) the socially and culturally important places in our lives. These are the gathering places in the outer boroughs and working class neighborhoods, mom and pop shops, and historic sites.

Help shape the agenda by sharing your insight on the places in your neighborhood that you think are important..
